resistance over types 409 and 439 stainless. Stainless 441 is suited for drawn components and
bent tubing. applications includ appliances, food and kitchen equipment, heat exchanges,
as well as architectural structures.

Applications
Type 441 stainless developed for mufflers and exhaust emission control systems.
Due to its alloy composition, this steel exhibits scaling resistance up to over 950 °C in continuous
service and good corrosion resistance under exhaust system loads.
